ALLOW US TO INTRODUCE SAM MCMINN AND HIS FAMILY:
Sam McMinn was born and raised in South Charleston, and currently lives in Charleston with his wife, Katlyn, and 2 year old daughter, Eloise. Sam received a Bachelor’s in Religion from Trevecca University in 2016, and a Master’s in Christian Formation and Discipleship from Nazarene Theological Seminary in 2019. Sam has served in several different churches as both youth pastor and worship pastor. When Sam isn’t working, he loves to be outside, whether that’s taking a hike with his family, bow hunting in the fall, or golfing. Sam is thrilled to minister to and with the people of Aldersgate United Methodist Church, and is excited to be a part of what God is already doing here.
OUR MISSION:
Aldersgate United Methodist Church is a community church located in Sissonville, WV. Our mission is "Sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ, equipping people for ministry, and meeting the spiritual and community needs of our area". Our church is located at 6823 Sissonville Drive, just seconds north from Sissonville High School. Look for our sign on left and then head up the hill! You are always welcome at Aldersgate.
Sunday service is held at 10:00 AM every week. Sunday school classes meet following the service at 11:15 AM. We have classes for all ages including preschool, elementary, middle school, high school, and multiple adult classes. Sunday service and classes aren't the only things going on at Aldersgate Worship service is broadcast each Sunday via Facebook. You may join us in person or online. Keep checking here for updates.
Our Clothing Corner will be open the second an third Thursday of the month from 3-5:00 pm. Donations may be dropped off in our donation box under the portico.
