Mike and Kelly: Partners in Ministry

Mike and Kelly are passionate about sharing the life-transforming power of Jesus Christ. They are a dynamic team committed to helping individuals become faithful followers of Jesus and live as Christ-like disciples. Their ministry focuses on:

• Encouraging and supporting: Providing a loving and supportive environment for spiritual growth.

• Resourcing and enriching: Equipping individuals with the tools and knowledge to deepen their faith.

• Faithful preaching of God's Word: Sharing the Gospel and guiding others through biblical principles.

• Investing in all ages: Ministering to children, youth, young adults, seniors, and the broader community.

Mike brings over 40 years of experience in ministry. He holds an Associate's Degree in Religion from Nazarene Bible College, a Bachelor's Degree in Religion from Liberty University, and a Master of Arts in Religion from Liberty University.

Kelly has a heart for those in need. With 15 years of experience as an advocate for victims of domestic violence and sex trafficking, she served as an employee and Board Member of the YWCA in Kanawha County. Certified as a Trauma Coach and Biblical Trauma Specialist, Kelly is deeply committed to helping women heal and thrive. She founded Kelly's Clothing Closet to empower women and has dedicated her life to mentoring and supporting those in need.

Together, Mike and Kelly strive to extend the redeeming love of God and bring hope and restoration to all they encounter.

 ALDERSGATE'S MISSION:

Aldersgate United Methodist Church is a community church located in Sissonville, WV. Our mission is "Sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ, equipping people for ministry, and meeting the spiritual and community needs of our area". Our church is located at 6823 Sissonville Drive, just seconds north from Sissonville High School. Look for our sign on left and then head up the hill! You are always welcome at Aldersgate.

Sunday service is held at 10:00 AM every week. Sunday school classes meet following the service at 11:15 AM. We have classes for all ages including preschool, elementary, middle school, high school, and multiple adult classes. Sunday service and classes aren't the only things going on at Aldersgate Worship service is broadcast each Sunday via Facebook.  You may join us in person or online.  Keep checking here for updates.

Our Clothing Corner will be open the second an third Thursday of the month from 3-5:00 pm.  Donations may be dropped off in our donation box under the portico.
